The District is governed by an elected seven member Board, who serve
four year terms. The Board members and staff invite the public to attend
Board meetings which are held on the fourth Monday of each month at
7:00 p.m. in the District's Administration Building, as well as Board
committee meetings which are held at various times.

Director Stone has served on the District Board since 1994. Bill has a background in cable television, having worked in the field for over 23 years. Bill is currently the superintendent for Avenue Cable. Bill has lived in the Ventura Avenue area for the past fifteen years and grew up in Ojai. Bill has served as Chair, Vice Chair, Board Secretary, and Assistant Secretary, as well as serving on numerous Board committees.

R. (Randy) Burg
Division 2
Director Burg was appointed to the board in 2001 and elected in November 2002. Randy holds a B.S. Degree in Economics and is the President of a local corporation representing several manufacturers to the construction industry. He and his family have been residents of the Ojai Valley since moving here in 1977. Randy is active in the community through with the Ojai Lions Club and has been an active member since 1978, having served as President, Secretary, and Treasurer. In October, 2002 Director Burg completed the Special Districts Institute certificate program, which includes studies in District Governance, District Finance and District Administration.

Director Kaiser was elected to the Board in November 2000. Pete has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis in Environmental Issues. He has worked for the County of Ventura since 1990 where he oversees Hazardous and Solid Waste management programs countywide. Pete and his family have lived in the Ojai Valley since 1991 where Pete is actively involved in the community serving on the Municipal Advisory Council and Ojai Lions Club, coaching Oak View Little League, and officiating youth and high school football. With considerable experience in waste matters, Pete brings his knowledge of fiscal and environmental responsibility to the Board for the public he represents.

Director Curtis was elected to the board in November 2002. Jack has an extensive background in the construction industry, including participating in the construction of portions of the District's collection system in 1963-65. Jack and his family moved to the Ojai Valley in April 1962. Jack has been active in the community for many years; he has served on numerous local boards and organizations. Jack currently serves on the Ventura River County Water Board (VRCWD), holds the position of Treasurer for the Ventura County Special Districts' Association (VCSDA), is a director with the Association of Water Agencies (AWA) representing County Water Districts, and is a commissioner on the Ventura County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) representing Ventura County's independent special districts.

Director Baggerly has served on the District Board since 1994. Russ has a background in environmental and political issues, having worked with the Environmental Coalition of Ventura County and for County Supervisor Maria VanderKolk. Russ has lived in the Ojai Valley for the past twenty four years and is an acitve member of his community. Russ has served as Chair, Vice Chair and Board Secretary, as well as serving on numerous Board Committees.

Director Greene has served on the District Board since 1990. Stan has a background in engineering, having worked in the aerospace industry for 18 years. Stan has been a self-employed service contractor in the Ojai Valley for over two decades. Stan is an active member of his community, having served on various boards and committees throughout the area. Stan has served as Board Secretary and Assistant Secretary, as well as serving on numerous Board Committees.

Director Lotts has lived in the Ojai Valley since 1948, and has been self employed as an electrical contractor since 1977. Bill has served on the District Board since 1989 when he was appointed to fill a vacancy; he then successfully won several elections to this position. Bill has held various Board offices including Chairman and Secretary, and has served on numerous Board Committees.
